It's Fun Doing Nuthin'

Picture Doodle

Forgot to put this up here. Got bored. Decided to doodle on a picture I took during one of the snow days. I'll probably do another one of these when ever I have time to be bored again.

Think, think, think

Greetings. Here are some things I've been workin on for my could be, would be, probably should be thesis.  I've already put up some of these on good ol' facebook, but might as well post them on here as well. I'm tinkering around with color schemes trying to get better at that whole shibang. I found this really cool site that helped me! It's called Color Scheme Designer 3 and if anyone is a noob at color and how they relate to one another like me, you should check it out. Enough talk. Here's the goods.

Final Finito

Hey, hey, hey! So it has been an extremely long time since i've posted anything...or at least it seems that way. Had a bunch of projects that took up all of my time and when I had time I would just sit and stare at random things/wonder why I wasn't sleeping. But, alas, junior year is over! Junior stress is over and has moved aside for the big guy. Yes. Thesis.......... Anyways. Lets not get into that yet. Here's my final!

Introducing Gideon, the Angry Broccoli. He is the bearer of misunderstood evil for kids around the world. When one ignores the veggies in front of them, Gideon's veggie senses start to tingle. So he puts on his mug face and goes to work instilling health and fear to children everywhere.

Thanks again to Zach Bellissimo and Chris Niosi for the voice of Gideon.

IGNATIUS J REILLY

This is Ignatius from a book called A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. Don gave us a list of characters and we had to design them from the descriptions.

These are some characters from a storyboard I did a while ago.

And this is Nigel as a villain....

SKETCH BOOKIN'

I was in a scanning mood tonight! So here's a bunch of random stuff from my sketch book.

Spudley <3 I need to use him in something. He's begging to be animated.

Page of food heads! Got to give props to my homies. Onion boy was drawn by Yanise. Funky eggplant and Burger monster by Joan. Watermelon movie ticketer giver person-erson by Steph Lynch. Popcorn head by Chris Cruz. AND Donut girl is from Mr Clark.

If you haven't noticed from my last post, I like to draw things with weird heads. They're fun. You should try it sometime. Draw a cooler with a human body...why not? Any way, this guy (Loafman Bread) has a story. He's is very self conscience about the, uh, length of his head so he wears a hood all the time. But he doesn't know that that makes it worse. He doesn't like being in the rain for fear of becoming soggy and the summer heat brings back traumatic memories of being in the oven. He likes the spring, though birds tend to snack on him. And he is in love with Jelly Jar, but she is going out with Peanut from the Butter family of course. I'm still trying to come up with his look a bit.

This guy is from the animation I'm doing now. He doesn't have a weird head, but someone pointed out that he resembles a chicken with his little rooster fro. He's fun to draw too.
