Gobble Gobble

Here's my last animation of this semester. We had to have a character go from one emotion to the next and this is what I came up with....I know its kind of sick and twisted in a way. But every thanksgiving I always wonder what a turkey would do when it realizes that there is a holiday that centers around eating them... I originally had this real elaborate idea where the cooked turkey on the ground was its girlfriend and then have him break down and hunt down the ones who cooked her. Though, due to time constraints and the fact that it disturbed me a little I kept it simple.

Exchange Monster

Think I'm going to work on this a bit more whenever I have time. Things need to be held longer and drawings need to be added and such.

Storyboard

Here's an old storyboard we had to do for Beckerman's class last year that I found. We had to come up with a story that involved a cat and the moon. He was really amused by the fact that the cat's name was Gerald for some reason....haha.

Blubberish

This is my third post today...I'm sick and bored, okay? I'm trying to rest so I can go to the Animation Show of Shows later tonight. Hopefully this thing doesn't get any worse than the sniffles. ANYWAYS. In Celia's animation class we have to animate a fat character sitting in a chair. Here are some of the designs I went through to get my final product.

The little sassy guy in the tie isn't mine. It was drawn on the animation table and I just had to draw it. So whoever drew it, I love it.

Hocus Pocus and cats....

Life Drawing 2

Oh yeah. Try to ignore the little black dot/smudge in the corner of all the pictures. There's something on my camera lens and I don't know how to clean it.....

Life Drawing

I finally got some of my stuff from my Life Drawing class. Some of the drawings are unfinished and... well kind of on the poor side, but I liked the poses. I have to say that this class has made me a lot better than I was before. I didn't really like to do figure drawings, but the teacher, Stephen Gaffney, made it a lot of fun with the way he teaches. Its looser way to get the form down and adds more flow to the drawings I think.

THE BEGINNING

So everyone's been telling me for a while to set up a web site and or blog....so here we go! Just took me a few years, but thats okay.

Since I don't have a lot of things on my computer right now, I'll just add a couple assignments from last year and start from there.

This was done for Eric Eiser's digi-comp class for the Tribeca Film Festival this summer. It was one of the animations picked along with Michael Ruocco's to open up all the film showings. I got this hard core looking 1GB usb drive as a prize (I call it my trophy) that had a combination lock. Really cool....until you hand it over to your trinket loving brother who messes up the combo... luckily for him I was able to get it open again.

Okay, I guess I lied... I only have one assignment on my computer. Hopefully I'll have some of my drawings scanned up and on my computer by monday to put up. Till then, happy Halloween!
